Valerie Alt, LCSW

Valerie is a MINT-certified Motivational Interviewing trainer and a practicing licensed clinical social worker in Berkeley, with more than fifteen years of clinical experience. She trains and consults for clinics, hospitals, county programs, and health organizations across the Bay Area.

Her background includes leading clinical training and quality programs inside health-tech organizations — as Clinical Director at Joyable, where she trained coaching teams to fidelity in Motivational Interviewing and CBT, and shaped the clinical protocols those teams worked from. She now brings that same experience to organizations directly, as an independent clinical strategy and training consultant.
